Click Couture first meeting
Initiated by Saiful Nang, the first meet up of Click Couture has taken place at Singgahsana Hotel recently. Not a very formal meeting, it was more like a “sembang-sembang” over lunch instead. Apart from Click Couture members, other main players of wedding photography industry such as Manggis, Iskandar Ibrahim, Ikram Ismail and Green Apple were present as well, giving their full support towards this meeting. Too bad one of Click Couture member, Syahrin Aziz were not be able make it
The discussion was mainly about setting the standards and benchmarks among us and also to the wedding photography industry itself. How do we serve our clients? How do we protect our work? How can we act and operate like a world class photographers? Those were some of the questions being discussed among us, and gladly i would say its a positive start and we had a very healthy discussion.
Its good to see the “competitors” sit at one table, eating lunch together and having a discussion, putting aside our differences and personal gains for the sake of the future of this industry. Kudos to Min for initiating click couture, thanks to Saiful Nang for gathering us up and thanks to those who came. Looking forward to next meeting…

i agree with zafer up there, what’s click couture has to offer to the industry that we’re all in right now? and guidance? certain standard set? or is it a group which consists of only big names in the industry?
like other industries, the malaysian wedding photography industry definitely needs some sort of a so-called governing body or an association/affiliation to set a certain standard on how malaysian wedding photography should be. quality-wise, service-wise, pricing-wise.
to create a healthy competition scene in the malaysian, i would say.. so here’s to click couture!
since u peeps are the pioneer, soaring expectation is inevitable. do show others what u ppl are made of. for once, lets get out of the old malay mentality shall we?
