Fikhree & Zurina Reception

I met Fikhree at one of my client’s wedding, i sat down with him after i finished shooting akad nikah ceremony, chatted a few lines and to cut the story short he decided to take me as his wedding photographer. They had 2 receptions, one was immediately after akad nikah and the second one on the night at PWTC Dewan Tun Hussein Onn. This is my first time photographing weddings at PWTC, after all these years. My fellow high school mate, Zaha decided to tag along with me, along with his friend Black. Both of them are Zurina’s colleagues in PTD.

Dr Azman & Dr Mayuha Engagement

For the first time ever, I met my potential client in a clinic. Being a clinic/hospital phobic, i try calm myself not to be afraid. hehe

Dr Azman & Dr Mayuha, got engaged on 20th July 2008 at Mayuha’s home in Holiday Villa Ampang. Previously i thought Holiday Villa is a hotel, but it turns out to be an apartment as well. Very spacious, very beautiful and very nice view, overlooking KL city.

The theme color of the day is purple and Mayuha looks stunning in her dress. The occasion was pretty standard, started with a negotiations, followed by “sarung cincin” by Azman’s mom and what else after that.. photo session! That was when all the cousins got crazy and try to be what i called “photogediks” in front of the camera. But i like it anyway… The more gedik the better..

Click Couture first meeting

Initiated by Saiful Nang, the first meet up of Click Couture has taken place at Singgahsana Hotel recently. Not a very formal meeting, it was more like a “sembang-sembang” over lunch instead. Apart from Click Couture members, other main players of wedding photography industry such as Manggis, Iskandar Ibrahim, Ikram Ismail and Green Apple were present as well, giving their full support towards this meeting. Too bad one of Click Couture member, Syahrin Aziz were not be able make it

The discussion was mainly about setting the standards and benchmarks among us and also to the wedding photography industry itself. How do we serve our clients? How do we protect our work? How can we act and operate like a world class photographers? Those were some of the questions being discussed among us, and gladly i would say its a positive start and we had a very healthy discussion.

Its good to see the “competitors” sit at one table, eating lunch together and having a discussion, putting aside our differences and personal gains for the sake of the future of this industry. Kudos to Min for initiating click couture, thanks to Saiful Nang for gathering us up and thanks to those who came. Looking forward to next meeting…

Salman & Wahyu - Akad Nikah

I’ve never met Salman and Wahyu prior to their wedding, one of my friend recommended me to them to be their wedding photographer. Salman called me up and the deal was sealed on the phone without any meetings what so ever. Usually, I always meet up with my client before their wedding, to break the ice and getting to know each other better, so i know before hand what type personality that im dealing with. Sometimes i tend to get a little crazy during weddings, so its good to know that my client is comfortable with a hyperactive person, or else i just act like a normal photographer

But Salman and Wahyu were awsome since the minute I set my foot at Wahyu’s house. They loved the camera so much, I just cant stop snapping their pictures. Not forgetting, wahyu’s siblings and also the ever kepoh bridesmaids, who made the event alive with their laugh and giggles (and gossiping too!). Enjoy rest of the pics, Fairuz Ismail signing off.

Farhan & Syimi - Akad & Reception

Another outstation wedding job, this time in Batu Pahat, Johor. Unfortunately I was not available for this wedding so I had to send Shahriman to be the wedding photographer for the day. Since i was not at the wedding, there is not much i can say here huh? Just enjoy the pics then!
